Eric, I'm a electrician in SW MN we travel up to 100 miles from our shop every day. Plus we are allowed to bring our vehome at night. We also pull a lot of trailers ever day. Fro. 20' enclosed to our lift and skidloader trailers. We currently run a slit between pickups and vans. Our shop has talked about this same topic many times. We see issues with electric vehicles for those of us that work put of town with trailers, but would work for our service guys. The boss said he would pay for chargers at our house. A local REA tried a Ford Lighting during a blizzard, with a full battery they only made it 60 miles before their battery died. Plus they couldn't run the heat, conserving the battery. I definitely have mixed feeling as the guy on yhe road. Thanks for the Podcast.

Hi Eric. Appreciate the video. We have 1 year old house in WI with this sump pump. We live on hill and it has never been needed and totally dry. Does it require any annual maintenance (e.g., pouring water into sump pump so that it operates)? Thanks.

Can I pull my heat exchanger to clean out the mineral deposits? I’m on a well in Alaska and the water is hard. It works good and want to extend it’s life. I was a plumber in San Diego for years before joining Air Force , just not familiar with these things. Really just curious what kind of issue I would have re-sealing it.

Forget about a drive-through for lunch.

We are on year 3 with our new combi unit . Heating for domestic water and heating water for house heat . Just Love the end less hot showers or baths , and heating costs omg out of this world . In BC, Canada with costs in 2024 year 3 , summer costs totals , $50 bucks a month with 5 people and 3 dishwashers in home . In winter $250 a month total for home heat and hot water for showers total for 7 people . Note so many additional taxes on the gas on Vancouver Island like , storage tax, delivery tax, fossil tax, gov tax, gst tax , prov tax , ALL included in the upper totals of 50 and 250. Still amazing monthly costs . Very happy and never will go back

I made one when I started back in the early 80's, I made bracket to hold pipe wrenches up to 24" to do steam.

Not as bad as I'd have thought. I'll stick to my holesaws but if I forget maybe I'll give the m12 a try ( wonder if it has enough power ).

I fkn hate that work thats what made me quit fukd my back up. I should have stuck to handyman work like faucets and toilets so much easier and easy pay. Beats working for some rich asshole that thinks I have to “pay my dues” so he can ruin my back. I can’t stand the thinking in the trades. That Milwaukee set up along with the dies that aren't included with the tool cost over $3500. Harbor freight has a threader that goes up to 2 inch and comes with a full set of dies and works just as good for just over $400.
